The Don Silvano Caccia Foundation was created by the will of the parishes and includes in a single body the family consultors of Erba, Lecco, Merate and Cantù. The Foundation offers support and advice on relational, educational and psychological issues. Provides counselling and therapy services for families and individuals, helping to resolve conflicts, improve communication and promote family and personal well-being.
Available services
Psychological counselling
Psychological treatment that helps to solve emotional and behavioral problems.
- Reception and orientation colloquium: first listening space to welcome, evaluate and orient the question expressed by the user.
- Psychodiagnostic assessment interview: collection of the personal/family history, in-depth analysis of the user’s overall functioning, return of the profile and orientation towards the necessary intervention
- Support colloquium: interviews aimed at providing help in a crisis situation, to address the evolutionary and life cycle transition tasks, to enhance personal and relational skills and abilities in the different areas of consultancy expertise.
- Group meetings with users: meetings with groups sharing a particular situation, personal or family condition or a stage in the life cycle.
- Home visits: for assessment of the environment, family climate and in relation to particular situations.
- Psychotherapy interventions: paths of psychotherapy.
- Liaison meetings with other services: meetings aimed at the presentation and discussion of the case, taking charge, planning, coordination and verification of the intervention project centred on the individual user/family.
The service is aimed at individuals, couples, families and groups.
The activation of services is subject to an appointment agreed with an operator.

- Family counselling: interviews aimed at fostering relationships within the family, supporting families in situations of social and cultural difficulties, preventing situations of distress and family violence, to seek solutions for the resolution of the conflict between the couple and the family.
- Family mediation: interviews aimed at seeking agreements in the event of separation or divorce, so as to promote and support parenthood, in a climate of respect, dignity and equity.
Addressed to couples or families with a relational imbalance and to couples in separation or divorce
Ethical and ecclesiastical consulting
Advice aimed at offering a competent and pedagogical comparison in matters involving moral and religious values.
