AISM APS/ETS Como Section
The Como AISM Section, present in the area since 1983, has become an important point of reference for people living with MS and their families.
All members of the Section (volunteers, employees, and collaborators) are committed to organizing activities, initiatives, and events to support people with MS and their families.
The Center was inaugurated on May 5, 2001.
Born from the desire to create a place for community gatherings and socialization in the
local area (the “AISM House”), over time the Center has acquired the expertise to structure services dedicated to people with MS without losing its most important characteristic: hospitality.
Born as a dream and a challenge, the Center has transformed into a consolidated reality that constantly sets new goals to achieve in the areas of:

Support for vulnerable people
The organization offers:
- a reception and information service on the topic of Multiple Sclerosis
- a counter
- mobility support
Aimed at all people with MS, their families, and caregivers.
At the office, preferably by appointment, call the office number: 031523358.
During opening hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00-12:00; 14:30-17:00), it is possible to obtain initial information, which will then be referred to the appropriate professionals if necessary.
The service provides guidance and support to people with MS through various procedures regarding disability recognition, various benefits, and employment issues.
It is open on Tuesday afternoons at the provincial office from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
It can be accessed by appointment by calling 031523358.
- Accompaniment to healthcare facilities for visits, physiotherapy, therapy cycles, hospitalization;
- Accompaniment to and from the workplace;
- Accompagnamento presso public offices e.g.: Local Health Authority, Municipality, patronage agencies;
- Accompaniment for errands or personal activities, including to maintain
social contact; - Assistance in participating in activities promoted by AISM at the local, regional, or national level.
It is intended for people with Multiple Sclerosis.
It can be accessed by calling the section number or by visiting the section in person.
It is open Monday through Friday.
Depending on the type of service requested, reimbursement is based on mileage or a fixed fee.
You must be an AISM member.
