Pro Cantù
The Pro Loco of Cantù, member of the Union of Italian Pro Loco and registered in the register of the Lombardy Region, promotes the territory through various initiatives. It organises events for schools, such as the delivery of teaching materials to primary school children and visits to monuments for secondary schools. Collaborates with the Municipality for seasonal events such as Christmas, Easter and summer fairs. The office, which also acts as a tourist information point, hosts mini exhibitions and cultural activities, including local art exhibitions and regional wood and lace exhibitions. He also works with various local associations.

The Pro Cantù works with schools, with the Municipality and with local associations for cultural promotion
- With the children of the first elementary school, at the opening of the school year, we celebrate San Remigio with the delivery of educational material to all the firstborn.
- With middle school students, we make targeted visits to the main monuments of the city.
- With the Municipality we collaborate with the most important events such as: Christmas, Easter and summer (Storie di Cortile, musical review of contemporary singer-songwriters).
Being the office open in the afternoon it also functions as a tourist information point and venue for mini exhibitions with two rooms made available to students of the Art Institute, as well as local artists and nearby provinces.
For several years, regional exhibitions of the main Canturini artists have been organized. In collaboration with the production sector, regional reviews are carried out, especially in the wood and lace sectors. - With the associations canturine collaboration is addressed in particular to member associations such as: Chanturium, association of stamp collectors, Committee for the promotion of lace, Art Laces Association, Photo Circle “La Pesa”, Associazione Ciclistica CC Canturino, VeteranCar, Carnevale Canturino and DAMS
